Korean Air wins first meeting of season with Woori Card shutout
The Korean Air Jumbos snapped a two-game losing streak with their first win over Woori Card Woori WON this season. Korean Air earned a 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-16) shutout victory over Woori Card in the fourth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League at Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon on Friday. Korean Air, which won the title for three consecutive seasons from 2020-2021 to 2022-2023, remains in third place in the league with a 12-9 record and 38 points this season. However, with the win, they moved to within one point of second-place Samsung Fire (14W6D, 38 points) and four points of leader Woori Card (15W6D, 42 points). The victory was all the more valuable because it came against Woori Card, who hadn't won a game until the third round. Lim Dong-hyuk was a monster on his own, scoring 28 points (73.3% offensive success rate). Jung Ji-seok chipped in with 12 points (52.4% offensive success rate), while Jeong Jung-yong (9 points), Kim Gyu-min (4 points), Cho Jae-young (2 points), and Han
